I have been an avid quilt maker for 29 years. Until ten years ago, the actual quilting process was done on a home machine. Or by check. Then I fell in love with long arm quilting. My Handi Quilter Fusion has over 80 million stitches logged. I have recently added to the long arm family and have purchased a new Bernina Q20 on a 10-foot frame. I have finally found my artistic calling with my machine, needle, and thread.

I am a member of the Handi Quilter Inspiration Squad, have written and tested for Quiltmaker and Quilt Life magazines, and have been juried into or participated in several shows to include Art Prize in Grand Rapids.

On a personal level we “retired” to Smallwood Lake in 2018 from the Lansing area. I am a veteran of the United States Army and Army Reserve, was a health care worker, teacher, administrative assistant and retail manager. I am the mother of three grown boys, the grandmother of six beautiful grand babies, owned by one large and one small dog and a wife to my best friend for over 38 years.
